Wow MIL!

I have never really had a problem with my MIL, but this just struck me as a little odd. MIL is supposed to watch DD tonight while DH and I are at work. She just called me and said that work sent her home early today because she has horrible pink eye, and do I still want her to watch DD! She said she knows she is highly contagious, but it was my call!

So needless to say, I told her that my mom was available tonight, and Im sure she wouldn't have a problem watching DD!

    Quite frankly, I think it was actually really nice of her to call you instead of springing it on you tonight when it was time for her to watch your daughter.

    My mom does this alot when she is sick.  She asks me to make the choice so I don't feel like she is making the mommy decisions.  It is nice when moms or mil's do this, but some times it bugs me too!  Oh well, at least they are telling us exactly how to raise our kids.
