we usually pick out something that we've wanted for a long time together...a couple years ago we got TiVO for valentine's. best. gift. ever. now we can watch all our shows when we want, so we can spend more time together at night after work and catch up on our favorite shows on the weekend. i don't know that we can afford anything much this year anyways.

I'm getting hom a card and some cologne and a gift card to barnes & noble from the girls (he's been saying he wants a new book for a few weeks now).

Very un-romantic... since V-day is a Saturday maybe I'll make a special dinner... no promises though, could just be pizza night!
