he just wants bm, not formula

I cant get him to drink formula tonight! He just wants breastmilk, and I cant pump enough for him. He kept getting frustrated at the breast, and I finally couldnt take him screaming - so I tried pedialyte (which was ok'd before by our pedi) and he gulped it down. He's on Elecare because he cant tolerate other stuff.

Anyones babies get in a rut like this? He used to do great.....so frustrating.

    Have you tried mixing BM with the formula?  While the pedialyte prevents dehydration, I would worry that there aren't enough calories in it for your DS.

    Yup DS does this too, I just put whatever BM I can in with formula. Sometimes he gets to upset trying to nurse and I cant calm him down so I have distract him then re-offer.

    maybe try another brand?  are you making it warm enough?
