Babies: 0 - 3 Months

teething relief...

Colt has been teething for about two weeks now and I'm trying really hard to give him teethers and cold cloths and such but sometimes he gets in a lot of discomfort and I give him tylenol or motrin.

It's not recommended to give either for more than 5 days in a row.. I just read that today and I've given it to him 8 days now... :(
same goes for the baby orajel (which doesn't seem to offer relief past 15 mins...)

any other remedies or suggestions? I feel bad for the little guy, I think he has two coming in right now...

Re: teething relief...

  • I will admit I haven't tried them myself yet b/c I was at BRU today and forgot to buy them but I hear great things about these disolvable teething tablets.
  • Loading the player...
  • I have heard a lot about the Hylands Teething Tablets.
  • Try highlands teething tablets holistic work wonders 2-3 tablets at a time dissolve under tongue, be careful with oragel can over numb and baby can aspirate.
  • thanks ladies! I've never heard of them before.. I'll definitely have to pick some up tomorrow. I'm getting desperate here.

I'm a little worried over this so I put such a tiny amount on, which I'm sure is why it never really works. lol
