who is the women that Jin was talking to at the end?

    The french lady.  The one with the teenage daughter on the island.  (obviously later though)

    basically they're setting things up to tell you how all these other characters got on the island.

    The french lady who always had a gun, was a little coooooookey, set up the SOS loop on the towers ---- they also said that Ben's daughter was her daughter too (i forget her name...) but since she is prego now, that apparently isn't the case...unless Ben is one of the french men?

    I cannot keep up with this show!  It probably doesn't help that I've only seen bits and pieces of this season.  Wed/ night is the only time I wish DS would have an early bed time :-)

    I sort of had a thought he (Jin) would be alive.

    I have to say I don't think I've ever been this confused or 'lost' ever.  All this time travel...can't keep up.Wink

    Ben came over with his dad as part of the Dharma initiative.  Remember his dad was "Roger Workman", the dead guy Sawyer & Hurley found in the VW van in the jungle? 

    And as soon as DH & I heard those people in the raft speaking French, we knew Danielle Rousseau was one of them.  Poor Jin must be so confused, but at least he can speak a little English.   :)
