DH has been on kitchen duty since DD was born.  He likes to cook and I don't, so he volunteered.  However, he's not so great at the cleaning part.  I made dinner tonight, and while it was cooking, I decided to reclaim the sink.  I filled the dishwasher with what was in the left-hand sink.  After that, I had to unclog the drain.    I kid you not, there were wrappers in there.  There were also blueberries, oatmeal, rice, you name it.  It was absolutely disgusting.  Why are guys so slobby?  When I lived by myself, I had a clean kitchen.  I might not be able to cook worth a hoot, but I was clean.  I think from now on, the kitchen is mine again.  John can clean the bathroom.

hahaha!!  at least he tried to help!  my DH is a slob too, when it comes to cleaning up.

I still have one sink left.  I shudder to think what's in there.  Ew...  And you should see my microwave.

Geez. Perhaps you should clean or at least alternate cleaning with him, that way the kitchen will actually get cleaned sometimes. Careful about letting him be responsible for the bathroom. LOL

He doesn't know it yet, but he gets to scrub the toilet in the downstairs bathroom.  It had a clog that was just repaired.
