Quick question for you ladies, if you had GD with this or any pregnancy did you have to be induced or have a c-section? Did any of you deliver naturally on your own? This is my next largest concern after keeping him healthy. TIA

I was to be induced at 39 weeks. I had my last u/s on a Monday, my induction after that appt was scheduled for Wednesday. I went into labor at 2am on Tuesday morning. 1 day shy of 39 weeks.
I did end up with a c-section, and I was a natural birth crazy on these boards. I really wanted one, but after 24 hours of laboring at home, and finally going to the hospital, my main concern was getting sleep. I got the epi, my labor progressed perfectly without pitocin, and in the end he was sunny side up, and stuck.
It's not meant to scare you. Just don't sweat it. Once he's here, all of your intentions will go out the window. You will have your beautiful baby and it is all that matters.
I had a scheduled c/s at 39 weeks. ?DS was already measuring 9lb (born an ounce shy of that) and was growing really quickly. I don't know for certain that was because of GD, since it was well controlled with diet and exercise, but my doctor and I both felt getting him out at that point was best. ?The only "bad" effect was that DS had low blood sugar after birth, so he was away from me in the nursery for over an hour while they gave him formula and got his #s back up.
fwiw, I loved my c/s experience and will gladly sign up for another when we have #2. ??

I was scheduled to be induced the day after Dd was born r/t the GD. I did have a c section but it was related to the baby's drop in heartrate and not my GD. I made it 7cm when her heartrate dropped and had an emergency c section.
I was induced. My dr was worried about the size of my baby, not just because of GD, but my husband is a giant! I was induced just past 37 weeks and she was 7 pounds 8 oz.
I had a c/s because my ultra sound showed DS in a breech position at 34 weeks. My doctor, though, said he wasn't based on her "feeling" of the head, etc. on my tummy. I was hoping to have another u/s to determine the "real" position of the baby closer to my due date, but my dr. was very hesitant. So, I decided to play it safe and chose to have a c/s. I have no regrets about my c/s - in fact, I'm GLAD i had one. My recovery was great and the overall surgery was fast and pain-free!
