Especially if your water breaks before the surgery. But if you test positive for it at 36 weeks, and are having the Cesarean a few weeks later, you may not have the group b bacteria anymore or at that time. They just won't test you then.

nope as long as your water hasn't broken there is no GBS contact with baby.
