OH MY GOD!

So listen to this, I go to a Joe Torre from the Yankees book signing, I'm there 3 effin hours. I make it to #2 in the next group and they come up and tell us he's not signing anymore! I flip the F out, I speak to a manager, news people, anyone that'll listen. Nada.

On my way back to the office in tears (almost) I decide to wait a minute at the side entrance. Guess who comes out! I say "please Mr. Torre, I've been here for 3 hours" he says "of sweetie, I don't want that to happen" and SIGNS MY BOOK!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy and while I was there, I recorded this for you all that know my love of wild life. People were dying!

DH is die-hard Red Sox fan and can't wait to read Torre's book and find out all the juicy dirt.  He likes Torre, just hates the Yankeees.

That is badass!  I just went up to a book store today (after M got up from her nap) to get Tony Dungy to sign my book. the signing started at 3 and they already had the line cut off for signing.  It was crap, but oh well.  I'd rather have my toddler take a nap I guess.  They said that people had been there since 7am.  I'm a freak about football, but not that crazy!

He really is a nice man.  DH nad I met him at Jekyll & Hyde's.  He was having lunch with his daughter and a friend.  I literally walked into him, and didn't realize who it was until DH stopped me.  He signed a napkin for me (I am a huge Yankee fan) and when dh mentioned that he was a Red Sox fan, he asked he we live with each other during baseball season.
