If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all...

My car is on the fritz.  When I started the car after going into the grocery store to get more formula, the check engine light popped on.  My car is near 100,000 miles so I figured it just might be a sensor.  No biggie.  Then the portrait studio called to let me know that Irene's pictures were in, so I got in the car and went to pick them up.  About halfway there, my car started jerking and making a stuttering sound.  I made it the rest of the way to the studio by driving 20 mph, as it didn't seem to act up as long as I drove slowly.  I made it back home driving the speed limit.  Now I have to go to Advance Auto and get the system checked.  On top of all of this, I just got my pp period.  Ugh!  It would decide to act up right before I'm getting ready to sell the damn thing.

  • Aih...  Hopefully it's nothing big.  Our car did the same thing shortly after DS was born (engine light, bumping, etc), and (thank goodness) all it needed was a good tune up.  Not that bad at all.  I hope your luck turns around!!

  • God, I hope that's all it is.  We can only make the tax return stretch so far.
