Wanted to quickly butt in to share this with you ladies...
This happened to a friend of mine and her dr kept saying it was no big deal, just a rash that would go away...6 months later (after bugging her dr every time and not satisfied with his answer) she found an article like this on the internet and all the pictures she found, looked just like her baby's rash. FYI - the rash would oooze and peel and flake and it was much more than a rash! She called Carter's they said they are aware of the problem (a chemical in the stamp was causing the rash) but not recalling. However, they did tell her to send back anything tagless she had from them and they'd reimburse her. 2 months later she did actually get a check for $600. So please be careful with your little one....

Re: Carter's Tagless Causing Rashes!
It is ONLY the Fall 2007 line that is doing this. My DD didn't have a reaction, but I'm returnig the clothes in case DD#2 does.
Most moms on here need only be aware of hand me downs.
Here is Carter's statement on it...

Apparently this was happening in about 2% of babies wearing the 2007 tagless items- they are the ones with a solid background (if you have both you can see the difference.) I got some likely from a TJ Maxx or something for presents and I am going to hope she doesn't get a rash- but I will know if she does to get rid of them. Unfortunately I can't return them.
Yes, if you look on the Carter's website, they tell you all about it and how to identify which ones cause a rash (what the tag looks like).
