How are you washing toys?

I got a bunch of soft toys from my baby shower, ones that are musical, light up & vibrate. Mostly the Carters hanging toys if you're familiar with those.

They're super cute but I know a million hands have been on them in the store and I have no idea how to wash them without ruining them. The battery/ music pack things are not accessible to remove either...

?TIA for any ideas!

?As for other toys do you just toss soft ones in the wash and hand wash?plastic ones? Or is more sanitizing needed for brand new toys?

I've heard you can wash the soft toys in a pillow case or mesh bag in the washing machine then in the dryer and the dryer will do the disinfecting.

Or you can just put them in the dryer for about 20 minutes which will also disinfect but not spot clean of course.

I always washed them on delicate even if the toy said not to. I would rather throw the toy out because it got destroyed in the washer then give my baby a dirty toy.
