anyone ever use a diaphragm?

I am thinking about using a diaphragm for birth control until I am done bf. Has anyone ever used a diaphragm? Good experiences? Bad experiences? Is it difficult to put in and take out? TIA!

I got one and used it only once, it gave me a uti. But Im very susceptible to getting uti's. It was kind of hard to know if it was in right.

I tried to, but it was difficult and I could only really insert it right in the dr.'s office. My cervix is way high though - I've had drs comment on having difficulty getting a good pap sample, so I'm not surprised I had trouble with it. We started using condoms instead.
