to go to a movie and "enjoy the last few weeks of being pregnant."

I've been teary all day and that got crying again. So she stripped my membranes, suggested a prenatal massage and kept the convo to a minimum after that.

i know the exact feeling, i was 2 weeks late with paige.  every day of my 39th week and after i prayed!!!!!

how did the stripping go? are you having cramps? how many cm are you? i hope it works ASAP!

I know, right?! I was like, um, no- there will be no "weeks"! I told her that "weeks" is not an option.

Weeks??? What is wrong with your MW? Sweet Lord I would have melted down right then. As if 10 months isn't long enough already?

Last few weeks? Does she expect you to keep the baby inside for awhile still or what? Are you a giraffe or something??? (14-15 month gestation)

Try all of those labor induction techniques, even if they are just a bunch of crap. It will make you feel better.

BTW, my dr said she would induce at 41 1/2 weeks at the latest. She said the baby should be out by 42 weeks, no exceptions. I guess it's a common medical opinion that the baby should be out by then.
