safely home!!!

SO i live in KY where the winter strom is hitting right now.  I was at work when the midnight staff came in and said that the shift manager told me to go home.  So i call my husband and he tells me to wait on him he is going to follow me home.  I get on to the main road and start sliding everywhere and went into the other lane!!!  Lucky everyone was going slow and i didn't cause an accident.  I parked my car and had my husband take me the rest of the way home.  I can't wait for this weather to clears up.  I no longer want to drive.  Im still trying to clam down from the whole thing.  I knew i should have just went with him from the beinging.  Thankfully we are now home safe and sound.

oooh be careful!! We had that at the middle of December in Oregon, and I was out of work for three days because we couldn't find chains for my car and DH refused to let me drive across the bridges (they are skating rinks in that kind of weather!). I hope the weather starts clearing up for you soon!

Was present during said Oregon snow for two freaking weeks, it was awful. I thought DH was going to go into cardiac arrest everytime I took myself anywhere. Luckily the only time I got my car stuck was behind our garage...lol
