AW: buying stroller off Craigslist!

We just found our stroller on Craigslist for $100 obo...It's normally $279.  I am going to offer $80 and am picking it up tomorrow....I'm so excited!

PS: The carseat and stroller are a different color: would that bother you all?

    I dont think I would use a a used carseat...you dont know if it was in a accident or not...Id get a new carseat...Are you having a shower? WOuldnt someone buy yu this??

    For $80 nothing would bother me.  This baby stuff is so expensive!  We bought our glider and ottoman off craigslist for $40 and my mom asked me if I was unhappy because it was white and my furniture was natural....ummmmmm no.  $40!!!!

    i got my stroller from craigslist - normally retails for $900 and got it for $500 - it's a double + toddler seat, and the only one that would work for our situation but we coud not afford it new - i was sooo excited to find it on craigslist!

    i'm guessing you mean the carseat you have/are getting is different than the stroller, right? I wouldn't buy a carseat used... but a stroller? sure!

    i also got my recliner/rocker from craigslist - $50 for the one we have in DS's room and $60 for the one we just got for the twins room. We got 2 arms reach cosleepers and a coupld bumbo seats from tehre, too- super cheap!!!

    it's the best! good luck with the stroller!

    We bought the carseat new for this reason.  It's the stroller I'm buying off Craigslist.  I am having a shower, but my dad bought the crib/changer, my mom is buying the breast pump, and MIL and FIL are buying the glider.  So I feel like at this price ($80) I'd rather buy it because I don't think anyone else would be spending almost $300 on us (if we were to register for it new).
