I have been trying my best to remain calm and stay in the positive for weeks now, since my first U/S. I went in at 6w0D and all we saw was a sac. No h/b, no nothing. I went today for my second U/S (my doctor only has used the doppler on me), and voila! We saw our little baby and saw the h/b.

I thought I was 10 weeks, but actually am only 9w3D.

Moral of the story: if you don't see anything at early U/S, don't worry. Give it time. Also, I didn't have M/S until last night, that was also at the back of my mind. I feel so relieved now. It's official! I have a baby pic to show off.

I told my husband I fell in love with someone else today. Big Smile

That's awesome, I'm glad you shared this! I just posted today about my worries... We went in yesterday for our first ultrasound and saw a sac & a yolk sac, but NO baby! ?I measured 5 weeks 6 days. ?

?I sure hope my story has a happy ending like yours!

OMG thank you so much for posting this! I had an u/s last week and the heartbeat was there but weak and I have been a nervous wreck b/c I have one tomorrow but I feel much better now. THANK YOU :-)

You are welcome! I know having read something like this would have eased my fears (a little). Let me add that, in addition to seeing nothing but a black circle-and I really mean nothing. My doctor said my sac measured 6w3d with the machine. Dagger in the heart! I'm glad it was all just a miscalculation. Machines don't know everything.
