When could you hear the heartbeat on bebe sounds?

I started hearing it at 11 weeks. Are you laying it flat on you? You have to lift it up from side to side to hear .

Most people can't use it until 3rd tri, but others have said that they can hear movement (which I think is almost just as good as a heartbeat).
