Valentines?

i feel like maybe we should really do valentine's day this year, since it is our last as a two-some. weekends have become such a valuable resting and planning time though...

anyone doing anything great? i need motivation.

We hardly did anything last year ... but are really getting into it this year with an awesome 'date night' this year ... Mommy/Daddy dates are awesome, and it's nice to have an evening away from baby.

We're doing dinner at our favorite restaurant in Flower Mound, and then a movie I think. I also got DH the Planet Earth series on Blu Ray because he LOVED that series ... and I think it'll be kick azz on our awesome tv that we spent teoo much $ on, hee

We're having a random V-day this year. Going to Winstar with SIL and her bf, seeing Brooks & Dunn and gambling. We're staying the night, so our first night without T. I know I will miss her like crazy, but I'm excited!

Same thing we are doing a date night baby sitter is set up already!

Oh and DH got me the Planet Earth series in Blu Ray for Christmas...it.is.awesome. I think I have watched it at least 3 times now. Love it!

We're going to IHOP- the same thing we have done on Valentine's day for the last 7 years, only this year we will bring DD.

One of our favorite restaurants in Dallas is La Duni. I would highly recommend it if you haven't been before. ?

I'm the complete opposite this year! I'd usually be all about doing something special since it's the last as just us, but I'm looking forward to low key at home....I must be getting old.

I know Gaylord has a V-day special, though....

We never do anything for V-day but I'm okay with that. I hate getting out into the crowds to go to dinner, it's just not worth it to me. It also happens to be my b-day as well. I'm easy.

We don't have plans as of yet.....not sure if we will do something low-key like just go out to dinner and then have a night at home alone or what. I did hint to my DH that it would be nice to have a mini-trip away, but we might just get my MIL or someone to watch Hudson that day and overnight and just enjoy the weekend alone. We'll see...

I booked a couple's massage for that day. DH usually get a gc for me for a massage but I thought it would be nice to have one at the same time & together this year. Then we are going out to dinner.

Last year I was on bed rest so it was definitely low key. Usually we don't go all out, but I was informed today by my DH that he has booked a babysitter and we are going out. Woo hoo!

I'm totally excited - we're going with our good friends to see Le Freak at the House of Blues that night! I totally love Le Freak and even did an out of town show with them once (when I had boobs, long hair and a pretty good body, hee). SO excited!!
