follow up to DD and the hives

DH took her to the doctor this morning since she broke out in hives last night for no apparent reason (and they are still there).  They said to give her benedryl as needed and to watch her.  They said it *might* be a reaction to the cough syrup that she had (it was basically honey and is supposed to be fine for 3 year olds) but they don't think so.  Just in case however we are not using that again.  Supposedly it could be a virus or something....I guess we'll see how it goes for a few days and take it from there.

Yeah...there is a virus that makes them break out in hives..my DS1 had it last year..they break out..then it goes away..then they break out again.  (cokisaci or something like that I think was its name?)

thanks for that, I didn't know that there was a virus that caused that.  cokisaci is hand foot and mouth so I know that doesn't cause hives, I'll have to go look it up.

OMG!  PUPPY!!!  KIDS!!!  My brain turns to mush.

No more cough syrup - I hope the benedryl works and she feels better soon.  Lots of hugs to her

Poor girl.  At least your DH took her this morning, even though the afternoon was "better for him".
