2nd Trimester

Yoga DVD

I see from the post below many of you do your yoga at home with a DVD! I was wondering if you could recommend a yoga DVD.... I see a few out there but am curios of which ones you ladies are using.

Re: Yoga DVD

  • Me too! I would love to find a good one

  • I bought Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea and I really like it.
  • I also have the Shiva Rea video and I don't like it. You have to fast forward through a bunch of talking at the begining and it's hard to watch the poses while you are doing them. I think it would be nice if it had something where they would show you the poses first, and then have you do them and once you learn it you can just do them all without the extra explanation. And it has guided relaxation at the end, but it's annoying because there is no end. I'm used to my yoga instructor guiding the relaxation/meditation and then ending it at some point so you don't just fall asleep or something.

  • I have the Crunch Yoga Mama one - it seems kind of easy (because I had been doing yoga at the gym for awhile) but I still like it.  It is definitely something that you could continue to do well into the 3rd trimester.  I think it is about 45 minutes.
  • If you go to Amazon.com you can read a lot of reviews for differnt yoga dvds.  I think I'm going to buy one today!
