What is a good cough medicine..

that is safe to take and that works good??  I have been coughing my head off for 2 days and I can't take it any longer. I have tried cough drops and spray but NOTHING is working..I am soo miserable!  Please help..TIA

Delsym! It's a 12-hour cough suppressant in grape or orange flavor. My OB recommended it to me. It's a wonder drug!

growing up i always used Robbitusin DM (i woudl get bronchitis like 3 times a year) and it works well. not sure if it's safe though...

Yes! The day my OB gave Delsym the official okay, I could have worshipped her like she was a god.

By the way, Robitussin doesn't do jack sh*t for coughs. I took an entire bottle of it because it was on the approved list...10 days later explained to my OB it wasn't working and she said to take Delsym.
