My legs are unbearably itchy and now my feet are starting to feel the pain. Argh- it's hard to itch the bottom of your feet in the middle of an open office. Anyone have any remedies? I tried cocoa butter lotion, but it was no help.
I posted about my itchy legs yesterday (post in my blog too)... it truly sucks! My doctor told me to start taking Benedryl last night & that actually helped me. I've been using a humidifier while I sleep & loading on the cocoa butter lotion & didn't help much.
Good luck... I feel your pain!

I had this problem about a month ago. ?The only thing that helped me was to soak my feet or take a bath then slather them in cream and put socks on. ?I know that's not an option right now but maybe you could try when you get home. ?Mine always flared up right before bed. ?They itched so bad I broke the skin in ?a few places before figuring out the soaking and lotion helped. ?Good luck!

OMG. I don't know how I have missed the other posts on this, but I was seriously starting to think I had some kind of terrible disease on my legs. They itch so bad I want to scream, especially at night right before bed. Do they have a name for this? Is it a common pregnancy symptom? I am scratching myself raw!
I was looking for something else on here today and couldn't help but respond to this for you ladies!
In my pre-natal yoga class last night, there were two women having this same problem and the instructor told them to put lemon in their water because it's more than likely due to liver build up. And lemon can help liver function. She said it's very common in pregnancy. She said do that and lay flat on your back on the floor and put your feet up on the couch and have your partner rub your legs in an upward motion. She said it can help with circulation.

I thought there was something wrong with me too! I'm fine during the day, but night time my legs drive me absolutely insane... I wake myself up scratching them to death.

You're definately not alone, but my itching keeps happening in places I can't always reach, or want to scratch at work! Like the insides of my thights, spots on my back, yikes! I've got a part time job at Bath & Body Works and I use this Derma Remedy stuff we sell, it's for really dry skin, and even though mine's not so dry it's cracking, it still itches. It seems to help a little bit. HAven't tried benadryl or anything yet though!
