Multiples

It's times like these I wish I had a home doppler... a little worried.

I was carrying DS and some eggs into the house when I tripped on the stair going inside and fell. Not wanting to hurt DS or break all the eggs, I took the brunt of the fall and fell on my right side. My knee and hip hurt the worst. I feel ok and I know the babies are well protected in there but I just haven't felt them move since then.

I normally don't worry when I don't feel them for a while simply because I am only 17.5 weeks so I just don't feel them that often as it is. It;s just that now I want them to move and they aren;t so I am paying attention to it.

I just was at L&D last Wednesday due to some spotting, so I would hate to go AGAIN... (I feel like if I call the on-call they will just have me go in)

  • I fell last week and didn't want to go to L&D so I hear you there.  I'm glad I did though.  They monitored the babies (which were fine) but I started having contractions pretty regularly so it was a good thing I had gone.  I say, even though going to L&D sucks, better safe than sorry.  Good luck and keep us posted!
  • If you are worried then I'd call the doc and see if they want you to go in.  I hope everything is fine and the babies move around a little bit soon to ease your mind.
