Ok, I called DH to say hi and see if he was going to be working late today. He replied no. So I told him that i need a favor and explained that I need a back rub. He hesitated and said, "We'll talk about it later. I gotta finish something." Is it just me or does that sound like I'm not getting a back rub later?

It sounds as though he was in the company of someone and did'nt want to talk about it in front of them. I would demand a back rub...you are carrying his child after all.

 I agree, he sounded distracted by someone or something.  Just ask him again when he gets home.

If you can hold his baby 24-7, a back rub is not an unreasonable request. MAybe he was just embarassed to mention it in front of the person. . .though he could have just said "sure".

Sounds like he was busy and probably just wanted to get off the phone. I bet you will get your back rub.

Well, if it were my hubby I would say that sounds like no backrub later.  Good luck!

My DH gives me a foot massage most nights...sometimes I have to explicitly tell him no when he starts to rub my feet and I don't want him to. It's a great problem to have.

Yeah, I get a massage every night. Guess I shouldn't take the H for granted

I want a back rub too!  But my DH's excuse is always "I'm no good at it" which may be true, but at least it's loosening up my muscles.
