So I know we are supposed to limit stress when we are pg, but life tends to get in the way. My job stresses me out sooo much. I try to let things go and take it "one day at a time" etc, but I find myself more and more distressed each week. If you have any good de-stressing pointers, I would be glad to hear them.
TIA
Re: How to de-stress when our jobs make us crazy
I play World of Warcraft. It's an unbelievable stress reliever....but if you're not into computer games, it may not be for you.
I also go home and try to take a nap every day if I'm tired, then just veg out and watch TV for an hour or two.
Hmmm I'm not sure. Usually when I get stressed, that's when I take my "Bump" timeouts and just don't think about work for a little haha...
Have you tried any natural remedies? I haven't so I can't speak for their effectiveness...but I know they exist.
You're not alone. My job stresses me out quite a bit as well. A couple of weeks ago I had a particularly bad week and by Friday I cried myself to sleep
So, when my boss called me the next Monday morning I jokingly asked him what he needed from me to be happy for the week so that I didn't have to talk with him anymore. He took the (not so subtle) hint and relaxed a little. If it's people and their demands that stress you out, and you have a good working relationship with them, try using a little humor to drop a few hints that you could use a little break from the stress.
Good luck!!
i totally hear you! this is when i really miss my wine! nowadays i try to do something physical. go to the gym or something, heck even going for a walk. it just helps me burn some of that bad energy.
I've been taking walks to combat the stress or cooking a nice meal, one that takes me at least a 1/2 hour so that I can zone out, follow directions and not think for a little while!
