I just read your reply to ins denying formula. How did you know it was a state law to cover formula for medical reasons? I was denied as well and wanted to look into my state laws regarding this now that you said that. i live in CA. where did you look to find this? I am off to google this but sometimes google isnt the most reliable tool. Thanks!

After a long battle trying to deal with them ourselves DH when to the head of HR at his company and she has been dealing with them and found the statute mandating formula payment.  I'm not sure where she got the info though.  I emailed DH to ask.  I'll page you if I can find out exactly where she was able to look it up.

i wanted to add that it is an rx formula and we get from a mail order pharmacy.  We are still appealing what we paid for Alimentum after being told it was covered.
