My sister is and my mom will be. Her plant is closing in a few months. Def. by May if they make it to the end of March. She has been there for 10yrs and is really upset about it. She has built up 4wks of vacay time and then seniority. Now she has to start over.
But she said she is going to do unemployment for a while and just "rest". She is getting "old" and needs some time off.
There will be many many more in my area because another big plant is laying off 650 ppl. It sucks for my area because jobs are so limited due to the small area.
I am...DH was laid off, so we're living off of his unemployment. And he's been doing some odd jobs for friends here and there, so luckily we're not too bad off at the moment. I'm looking for something part time, but mainly for the break. There's no employment to be found here in Lexington, though.

We have DH's income and my unemployment which will run out soon. And there's no jobs to be had here.
Plus being 31 weeks pg isn't helping the job hunt.
Unfortunately we are. I do work 2 1/2 days a week though so that helps.
