DH and I had our initial consultation with our RE on Tuesday. We are so hopeful and excited at what he told us. First of all he took me off the metformin. (it had been giving me a lot of problems for about 6 weeks and I feel great) He perscribed a new prenatal vitamin, a baby aspirin, and folic acid. I will take that daily now. We also have a plan of attack for our first round of TTC under his care. On day 3 after my period we report for bloodwork and an ultrasound. Day 5 we show up and get our shots with instructions on how to deliver them over the next 5 days to stimulate egg production. We report again on day 12 and they will tell us when to have intercourse. Day 21 another ultrasound and the wait begins. We were walking on air when we left the appointment because we finally have an aggressive game plan. I am hopeful that this will work!! BFP here we come!!

Sounds like a plan. You may want to ask if you will be monitored in between cd5 and cd12. They usually want to monitor you while you are taking the shots to make sure you are not producing too many follies (and adjust your meds if you are)....it may be worth asking about~ GL
