I saw your post below about dropping your cell phone but you're worried about calling 911. Check with your local 911, because depending on the equipment that they have, you might get 911 service where they can see where you call originates from (the address where you are whenever it is that you call).

Our county has this service, so you just have to change a setting on your cell phone to allow either 911 or anyone to know your location when you call. I chose to just have 911 know.
