how long for a feeding?

DS is 9 days old. How long should it be taking him to eat?

Right now he is on each side for 30-45 mins. He keeps dozing off and I have to wake him every few minutes.   When he is finally done, I get maybe an hour off if I'm lucky. 

Did anybody start off taking this long and have it get better? This is insane and I keep seeing people on other boards complain about spending 20-30 mins total... I am going 60-90 minutes every time. The LC at the hospital gave me a guide with goals for wet and dirty diapers that he exceeds daily, but he always still seems hungry.

DS is 10 days old. ?He was eating 8-10 minutes the first few days, then 10-15 the next few. ?He is eating an average of 25 minutes now. ?Sometimes it's as little as 10 minutes and sometimes it's as much as 35...but it averages out to about 25. ?I let him eat until he's full. ?He doesn't drift off much except when he's feeding at night. ?This is my first...so I'm no expert...just thought I'd share.
