Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Whats a good website for healthy recipes for toddlers?

I want to make him a healthy milk shake and was wondering if anybody had some good recipes or websites I can check out.

He is sick right now and not eating well so ped said milkshakes or pediasure  would help.

thanks

  • When my brother (who is 11.5 years younger than me) was a baby, we used to make him a baby smoothie:

    1 C whole milk
    4 oz whole milk yogurt
    1/2 banana
    3 or 4 large strawberries
    about a handful of ice

When you blend it, it's going to make quite a bit, so you'll probably get at least two out of it. It will have to be sipped through a straw.

You can put just about anything into a milkshake/smoothie, as long as the flavors are balanced. I've made spinach and broccoli smoothies before and, even though it sounds like it would be gross, with a little salt and sugar it's AWESOME.

  • There is also wholesometoddlerfood.com. I don't know if they have milkshakes though.
