I knew I shouldn't have opened my 401K statement that came in the mail.  But I did.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.  It's the most I have ever lost.  A few more quarters like this and I'll have nothing left.  Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

I know - I opened my statement a few days ago, and I'm down 40% since the beginning of the year. But I'm not going to worry about it because I'm not even 30 yet - I have a long time for it to come back around. And when the prices DO go back up, I'll have the benefit of buying so much right now at such low prices! Try to think of it that way and it makes it seem not so bad.
