Re: did you keep your injectibles?

  • I have a couple friends that are starting up an IVF cycle soon.  I will probably offer them my leftovers

  • Check the expiration date of the drugs.  If they are going to expire before you think you'll use them again, then you can either donate them to your doctor's office or I donated mine to another TTTC from the Nest.

If you have insurance, they will cover you to get new medicine and not expect you to use your old meds.

  • Last time I didnt have much left over at all, and I think I tossed what I had. (The thought to donate never even crossed my mind). This time I have a lot left so I will donate it. But with that being said I have insurance coverage, so if we decide to TTC again (I dont think we will, going through this twice was enough) we can just get more when the time comes and the cost is very minimal to us. That is part of the reason I want to donate my left overs so much, so I can help people that have to pay so much for everything.
  • my insurance doesnt cover it. good idea on the experation date ill have to check it.

  • I donated my leftover meds to my clinic.  The Army actually paid for the meds, so I felt compelled to return the meds to the clinic for use by other military families.  I had some leftover Endometrin that I donated to a friend who pays OOP.

  • Hi there~~

If you happen to have Bravelle that will expire before you TTTC again and you might consider donating it to an OOP TTTC'er I'd be grateful if your willing to donate. I'd be willing to pay for shipping etc.

Just thought I'd put that out there just incase.

I'll post my email on the chance....

    Thanks!

  • donating mine to RE's office, but I have insurance coverage for meds (knock wood) so it's not a huge deal for me to replace it when the time comes to start trying for #2
  • A friend of mine got pg from donated meds. :)

  • I gave mine to my cousin (she is OOP) and we are covered.

It's better to donate if it will expire before you think you will use it, because you wouldn't want to cycle with expired meds.

The OOP meds check in on TTTC can set you up with someone who needs what you have to offer.
