Personally, DD did terrific in the Stride Rite early walkers with a hard yet flexible sole. She REALLY took off with those on versus her Robeez. Plus they were much safer for her outdoor play.
We absolutely love pedipeds. There were light and stylish! For early walking to help with balance, we definetly saw the difference and quick improvements with the stride rites!
I love pedipeds! We haven't tried Stride Rite yet but I've heard a lot of good about them.. I think we're going to keep DD in Pedipeds though as I've heard great things about them for early walker, learning to walk, and for walkers.. Plus they fit DD's feet really well and stay on perfectly, so why switch when we have such a great thing going
DD has a pair of robeez too but those don't seem as good. For pre-walkers I'm sure they're great, but the sole is very very soft so it wouldn't be good for outdoors. Plus they seem shaped a bit weird.. they're her size but they seem pointed (not pointy, it's hard to explain) at the tip and she has a harder time walking in them. She does GREAT in her Pedipeds though and is a full on walker now

I LOVE DD's pedipeds! ?I initially refused to spend that much on a pair of shoes but caved and I'm so glad I did! ?They are the only shoes that I have been able to get on her feet and they stay on. ?Any other shoes we have tried, if I could get them on DD immediately took them off. ?She actually goes and gets her pedipeds in the morning for me to put on her.
I love DDs Robeez! She seems to walk really well in them, and they are the only shoes she will keep on her feet for more than 2 minutes. Plus, it looks like she will be able to wear these forever!
I vote for pedipeds. DS has 2 pairs and the work very well.
I refused to buy Robeez - not my style.
DS also has a pair of New Balance sneakers (w/ a velcro strap - got em on sales for $19 on endless.com) and he walks really well with them - got them about 3 weeks after he started walking.
Re: robeez or pedipeds or another brand?
