I'm trying to talk my husband into splurging on a new Nikon D90, (Mel - my backup plan is the Canon Rebel XT) and the Nikon has a video function, so we can get rid of our (new) camcorder we got when Ava was born.
I think I've used this less than a dozen times.
The info is here: https://www.amazon.com/Sony-DCR-DVD108-Handycam-Camcorder-Optical/dp/B000M3ILF6
Everything is included, plus I can throw in the memory stick/card you need to take digital piks with it. (so you have the mini-DVD and card) I think I have extra mini-DVD's as well.
I love this camera b/c you can load it right up to your computer, or play in a DVD player as is. It's small, light-weight, and holds the charge well. It's a great little camera, just won't need it if I get the Nikon.
If you're interested, let me know. We can talk details and price.
Re: Anyone in the market for a camcorder?
Hmmm.....we are looking for one! All the ones that are out there are so confusing! We can't afford a high def, but do want something that is good enough to follow a moving kid!
poza - how's the video feature? And what did you have before? I love to take piks, but have been using my point & shoot powershot for years. So anything other than that is fancy.
I LOVE the idea of getting a Rebel, and think it has all I need, but worried that in a couple years I'll outgrow it, and kick myself for not getting something more in the Ferrari category. Thoughts????
Risper, YGM
We are also looking for one, but on a tight budget. Please e-mail me with what you are asking for it, but only if rispergirl doesn't want it b/c she was first!
