Oye, we are still at my mom's so no nursery.  We have bought the pack and play.  Perhaps i should get a move on with buying stuff?  Hum.

We are pretty close to finishing.  We need to purchase the glider and ottoman.  We also need to add some shelves to the closet, finish redoing the dresser and hang a painting.  We should be done this weekend.

Our nursery is still empty, but thats because we don't close on the house we just bought until February 23rd (maybe sooner if someone lights a fire under the banks a**...you'd think they'd want their money to start coming in).

But I have everything planned out, since we're doing the rainforest theme. I'm pretty excited about painting because the crib bedding has a really pretty shade of blue in it (for the water) and we're painting the walls that color. I can't wait to start though!

So far we've only painted, but we're picking up the crib on Sunday so I'll feel good when we get that set up. I'm also working on sewing curtains--I have just one panel of four finished, though. Here's my plan:

I'm starting to collect things, but nothing is assembled or organized. My shower is in two weeks and between my mom, grandma and sister the rest of the nursery furniture and the ENTIRE bedding collection, accessories and all, will be received then!

We are almost done....We painted the walls yellow, we have the crib, glider, dresser, bassinet, and changing table.  We just have to put up the border and see what curtains and bedding we get at the shower.  We registered for the Nautica pattern at BRU.  We are boat people so it seemed to fit.

I feel like I'm so behind!  DH has half of a wall to finish painting.  The only thing we have is the furniture, so that's my favorite.   I really need to get to shopping!

We haven't done a thing! We are painting a base-coat this weekend and then having a cartoonist do a mural next weekend. Other than that, we have nothing in there. Furniture's been ordered but won't be here for awhile.?

The nursery is coming along pretty well. We have the furniture and DH painted last weekend. We did a really light pink on the top half of the wall, in stripes. All the same color, but 2 different finishes of paint (flat and satin). It's a very subtle effect but I love it. We bought a chandelier on sale at Target to hang up for the light. I can't wait to see what that looks like. I still need to buy some other decorations but am not quite sure what way I want to go with that yet. I also need to make the letters for her name to hang up.

The room has been painted since we bought our house almost a year ago...it's bright citrus green (Disney color Friendly Frog) and bright white striped...not lots of stripes.  Just a 3" stripe of white and a 3" stripe of green in the bottom 3' of the wall and the bottom is completely white.  We already have the crib and the dresser/changing table together, but that's about it.

I'm way behind.  We have most of the furniture but the crib.  Still waiting on the bedding to decide on paint colors.  I'm hopin to have it by the end of the month.
