Boy's haircuts

Hey Ladies, ds is 15 months old. He needs a hair cut. Can you gilr share pics of your son and his haircut? Thanks so much. Also did you do it yourself or did you take him to a place to get it cut? I would like to take him to a place to get it done, but I am not sure he will sit and let someone else touch him. He doesn't really like the dr touching him so I can only imagine what he will do for a hairdresser.

We took DS to where DH gets his hair cut.  We did it about 3 weeks ago.  It had needed to be done for a while, but DH kept insisting that we wait until he was close to a year.  He sat pretty well on DH's lap and let the guy cut his hair with no problem.

DS's hair is all the same length. We took him to a children's salon for his first haircut when he turned 1 but they charged us almost $20 to cut hardly anything. We use clippers that my DH uses to cut his hair so now we trim his hair when it gets too long. I have to use scissors to trim around his ears but that's it.

Look on my blog (link in sig) to see pics of my boys' first haircuts. We had it done last weekend at a place specifically for kids. After this, I'll be doing them, but I wanted to have their first cut somewhere special. It was $17 per kid.

I am not planning on cutting his hair until he is older 18-24 months. I like the long baby locks they only have those once.

This is Caleb's first haircut:

He did really well.  He sat on my lap and chewed on car keys the whole time.  I brought some other favorite toys to occupy him also.  But he did not have a problem with the whole process.  I took him to my girl and she used just scissors, no clippers.
