those that use Ergo....

do you take baby in and out of the car seat when you go places to use the Ergo? We only did this once because it seems more distracting since DD falls asleep in the car seat. It's just easier to leave her in there. Also, DD likes to be held facing forward but we can't do that with the Ergo right?

    I would only do that if I absolutely did not want to use the stroller.  Right now it is too cold to have a reason to take her out of the carseat, but I see myself using the Ergo instead of the stroller a lot in warmer weather.

    No forward facing in the ergo.  You can do a hip carry which lets them see the front as well as the back.
