Swing, Bouncer or both?

We received a swing at our shower but not a bouncer. Should I go buy one or is the swing suffice? Thanks

The bouncer is pretty much useless for us. He likes to swing all day long though!

I would get both.. both of my sons LOVED the bouncer and this one loves the swing too..

We have the graco swing/bouncer combo.? Th seat of the swing detaches and is a bouncy seat.? We love it!

I would say you need both.  We only had a swing to start with and DS hated it.  We ended up going out and getting a bouncer that he LOVES.

We have both. DD hates the swing...I put her in it when she is pretty much asleep, and when she wakes up she is not happy about being in it. But the bouncer she likes...I think it's the vibration that she enjoys, lol.

I think every baby is different. The swing has been a waste for us - which is something we went out and bought. But she doesnt mind the bouncy seat  - which was, of course a hand me down... go figure. The graco combo one sounds like a good deal if you can return the swing you got and go purchase the combo just in case... space saver too probably.

We used the bouncer a lot at first, when he hated the swing. Now he loves the swing and we have that in our living room. We still use the bouncer - we have it in the bathroom and DS sits in it in the morning while DH takes a shower.

I say both.  The swing was a necessity for about 4 months, but I rarely use it anymore.  The bouncy is great for when I need to do something, like take a shower, so I still use it frequently.

Like PP said, I think every baby is different. ?My DD is not yet a fan of the swing and the bouncer that I bought, however will nap in the bouncer a friend gave to me used: which allows me to get my shower *almost* daily and makes me a happy momma! ?I don't regret getting both, and figure that she may learn to like the other things that were bought for her. ?I'm just glad that I had them available to try when she was fussy.

I need both! I use the bouncer a lot and the swing only a little bit.
