I'm looking around at convertible carseats for our eventual purchase... and I don't like any of them! I know safety and convenience/practicality are most important... but I can't find any that are as cute as some of the infant seats. We have a Peg Perego infant seat (color/design: black bubbles) and I think it's adorable... same with the color shades on a lot of other infant carseats (Chicco, Bumbleride, Quinny, etc...) - are there any convertibles that are cute? I know it's a dumb question but I'm curious.
Re: All convertivle carseats = ugly???
that is what we have - the priori. in black and silver. i like it a lot and its very comfy.
No shiit. If you read my OP I said that safety was most important. Obviously the appearance comes secondary... like I would be stupid enough to buy a carseat based on its color or pattern.
I am just curious if anyone out there has a nice-looking convertible carseat that I can look into (like I already stated). Sheesh people.

Thank you reynar (and punk)... I think I that solves my problem. I'll do some more research into the Maxi Cosis but assuming they fulfill all of the necessary safety requirements I think I will go with that! The Britax ones have SO much material (and come on... cow print? seriously?...
This one is cute and safe. Heidi loves it! She's been riding in it (rear-facing of course) for over 2 weeks now. The cushions have cute pink/white/gray flowers on them. We got at BRU because they were the only one's that had this pattern. It's an Evenflo Symphony in SophiAnn.

This has nothing to do with the carseat but I LOVE your daughter's hair (in your siggy pic...)..... such a cute shade of red!!!!!!
Thanks! It's so much lighter now (that photo was taken a month ago). I think it's going to be more of a strawberry blonde at this point. But I LOVE looking at the pictures from a couple months ago!

Understandable... but I do have to see it my car every day! I know most of the moms on here choose a certain color or pattern for their carseat because they liked how it looked (after they chose the model, of course). Same deal.
