How long before the bath do you undress him? I see a lot of boy babies that pee as soon as they feel the cold air. So, if he's going right from being wrapped up warmly to the bath, you might want to undress him a minute or so before you put him in, be ready to "catch" when he pees, and then start the bath.
If it's actually going into the warm water that's doing it, I don't know what to tell you!
DS doe the smae thing but its usualy only a small amount. I just go about and wash him up. Theres enough soap in the water that it's no big deal to me.

We have tried undressing him and playing a bit beforehand- just to see if that helped. I think it is the warm water. And short of dunking him in some warm water beforehand, I'm not sure what to do. Maybe we should just put his hand or foot in some warm water
If DS starts peeing in the tub, I aim his thingy so that it shoots out of the tub. My niece was in the habit of peeing and pooping at every bath. So my sister decided to put her on the potty before baths. Allie is only 8 months, but she will sometimes pee and poop on the training seat before her bath. She is very advanced. I wish my DS would pee in the potty.

Pee is sterile... just go with it.
Poop on the other hand....

I never knew that pee was sterile. Interesting.

I'm so glad you said that - I feel the same way!
Me either! He usually manages to shoot it out of the tub, though.
