I saw your post on 0-6 months regarding how having a baby is much harder than expected and I just always feel the need to tell people that I felt the exact same way!  Everything you said in your post I have felt (except the BFing issues).  I knwo it reassured me hearing from other moms that felt the same way.  I have to say that once DS hit about 4 months or so things got so much easier.  I just had the fussiest of babies!  It was overwhelming emotionally and there were many moments that i wanted my old life back!  It was a million times harder than I had expected and it still is, but DS is so very different.  It will definitely get easier--and your DS will start sleeping better and will become more mellow with age!

Like a fine wine, eh?  (mellowing with age .. ha ha)  thank you honey - that helps to hear.  he's not even a difficult baby - well, he wasn't.. but the lack of sleep once again is kicking my butt and making me really cranky and less mellow myself, you know?  oy.

Sorry to butt in...just wanted to offer my support.  Ditto everything happycouple said.  It's mind-boggling for a while, but it gets sooo much better!  Hang in there, sweetie.
