Success after IF

**LucyPevensie**

I saw your post on 0-6 months regarding how having a baby is much harder than expected and I just always feel the need to tell people that I felt the exact same way!  Everything you said in your post I have felt (except the BFing issues).  I knwo it reassured me hearing from other moms that felt the same way.  I have to say that once DS hit about 4 months or so things got so much easier.  I just had the fussiest of babies!  It was overwhelming emotionally and there were many moments that i wanted my old life back!  It was a million times harder than I had expected and it still is, but DS is so very different.  It will definitely get easier--and your DS will start sleeping better and will become more mellow with age!

  • Like a fine wine, eh?  (mellowing with age .. ha ha)  thank you honey - that helps to hear.  he's not even a difficult baby - well, he wasn't.. but the lack of sleep once again is kicking my butt and making me really cranky and less mellow myself, you know?  oy.
    Wheee!

  • Sorry to butt in...just wanted to offer my support.  Ditto everything happycouple said.  It's mind-boggling for a while, but it gets sooo much better!  Hang in there, sweetie.
