Alert IF friend about PG women at party?

I'm throwing a surprise party for DH at a restaurant Sat. night. One of my friends had a failed IVF cycle a few months ago and are planning to do another later this spring. She's always been very happy for us and has never seemed like one who wanted to be pitied about what she's going through, though I know it's been tough because they've been trying for so long. Anyway, there will be two visibly PG women at this party and I don't know if I should give her a heads-up or just let it go. I don't want to be insensitive but I don't want to assume that she couldn't handle it because I'm sure she can. I guess I hate the thought of blindsiding her. She doesn't know the other two women so she wouldn't be "prepared" at all. Would you say something?

If she never gave me the impression she was super sensitive about that stuff then I wouldn't mention it. I'm sure she understands that there are pregnant women everywhere and you arent to be blamed if they are at your party. I think you are a good friend for considering her feeling though, that is very sweet.

I would probably say something along the lines of "I know you have been through a lot TTC and just wanted to give you  aheads up that there will be a few PG women at the party." then leave it alone unless she says anything else to you.

Is it going to be a big buffet where people walk around or is it sitdown?  If it's sitdown.. I would definitely try to make it so she doesn't have to sit near them. If she doesn't know them, I'm guessing she doesn't want to sit next to two pregnant women that are going to be talking about baby stuff.  I might mention it in passing like "We invited Joe, his wife Joan who's pregnant with #1, Jack, his wife June, Marty, his wife Mary who's pregnant with #3, Toby, Gary, Gary's wife, etc..."  So you are sharing the info but not making a big deal out of it.
