Poll: Grand total of DC's sleep in 24hours.

I'm curious to see where DD stands after I heard someone elses DC naps for 5hrs during the day and 10hrs straight at night.

So my DD: 8hrs summed at night, 3.5 summed during the day. total: 11.5hrs

My 3 month old is just like yours.. A little more sleep would be nice!!!!

Ds usually sleeps around 5 hours a day and 11.5 hours at night (not straight through, but is only up 5 minutes, 3 times a  night)

My DD definitely does not do five hrs during the day... she'll normally sleep about 8-9 hours at night and maybe 2-3 more total with catnaps during the day.  Occasionally she'll have a sleepy day and take a really long nap... but it's usually a fluke.

Glad to know I'm not alone - I was worried she wasn't sleeping enough!  Those books with sleeping guidelines (or suggestions) make it seem like they should still be sleeping 14-15 hours a day!

11-12 at night, 2 hours during the day (usually 4 30 min.naps) = a total of 13-14 hours a day

Anywhere from 1-4 hours during the day and 5-7 hours at night. Sometimes DS will only sleep an hour the entire day until he's down for the night! That makes for a very cranky baby!?

She sleeps abotut 10 hours at night and a combined total of about 3-4 hours in naps.( usually four-five 45 minute naps)

DD naps somedays maybe 3-4 hours. Nighttime she ranges anywhere from 5 hours- 8 hours.

It really all depends on weekends/days of the week and what activities we do with her during the day.
