Yesterday and this morning, DS has had some very watery stools - as in they pretty much absorbed into the diaper and I would have thought it was just pee except for the location. They don't smell foul though which I though was the case with diarrhea. He's acting fine and eating normally. Normal or cause for concern?
Re: BF Babies & Watery Stools
My pedi said that it's diarrhea if it's absorbed in to the diaper like liquid--but if it's even a little creamy--then it's just very watery stools. Have you increased your fiber at all? That would do it. That is what happened to my DS and he even continues to have very loose stools.

Notes:
Is it yellow? BF stools are supposed to be a little more liquid than solid, about the consistency and color of mustard.
My DS stools are often soaked into the diaper a little. But it's definitely the seedy mustardy looking stools that are common for BF babies.
If it's the consistency of water, then it could be considered diarrhea. If in doubt call the pedi's office.
So about 5 minutes after a super watery poo with just a wee bit of normal yellow seedy stuff, he had a big normal poo. Although it did seem like there was more liquid involved than normal (might be the type of dipe he was in though).
I'm wondering if it was something I ate. He also nursed more than normal yesterday - I was thinking growth spurt. I've been eating fiber bars and taking colace for me but I've been doing that the whole time.
