abbv's for CD?

Okay, REALLY new at all this... what are all the abbv's for cloth diapers.. like AIO, PUL, PU, KCK, etc etc etc? Can someone please help me? TIA

AIO - All in one

PUL - polyurethane laminated fabric - The waterproof material in CDs

PU - ?

KCK - Kayla Cloth Kits - It's a one size diaper

AIO means All In One - like inserts and covers all in one piece

PUL is Poly-urethane laminate; cloth that is laminated to make it waterproof

not sure about PU

KCK is a type of one size diaper; don't remember if it's an acronym

AIO- All in One... just like it sounds... pretty much a cloth sposie...

Fitted- a diaper without a waterproof layer... needs a cover (PUL, fleece or wool)

Pocket- it has a pocket where you add the absorbing material (microfiber, hemp, bamboo, cotton) It can me a fitted pocket (no waterproof layer) or a regular pocket (has waterproof layer)

 

PUL- that's the waterproof layer in diapers (can't remember the full name)

KCK- Kayla's Cloth Kits pattern... a type of diaper that's made using that pattern. It features a front pocket and a particular way of adjusting size (it's a one size diaper)

Could PU be in reference to PU film? Which is a polyurethane film that is sometimes used in AIOs.  I have a few AIOs that have PU film not PUL (polyurethane laminate), so the polyurethane is not laminated to the fabric for waterproofing instead it is a film that floats between the layers.  They are my least favorite diapers that get so wet after DD pees that it seems like more than wicking, so I am not a fan of it and much prefer the diapers that use PUL (the seller advertised that she used PUL but it was very clear that is not what it was, and when I pressed her on it she told me it was PU film).  However, they could just be poorly constructed and the PU film has nothing to do with it.
