XP: spotting +BFP = huh?

I dont get it. I started spotting yesterday morning at 12dpiui. It was a dark brwnish color and it wasnt heavy but it wasnt a drop or two either.

So of course I was frantic wondering if it was AF or implantation bleeding. I couldnt take it anymore and POAS. I got a BFP. Today I still have a small amount of spotting ( alot less than yesterday). I tested again today and got another BFP.  what gives??

Did any of you have spotting for a while? How long did it last?

My implantation spotting seemed a lot like that. Brownish. Light. Lasted a couple of days.  And was present right around the poas BFP.  I think I even had it a little afterwards too.

Yes, I had pinkish watery spotting the day of my bfp.  I was scared, but it turned brown and went away the next day.  It was 7dp5dt, so about same time as you.  I posted on here, and a lot of women have it.  I know it is scary, but you're probably just fine.  I hope you get a great number tomorrow!!!

I had full on bleeding through my seventh week of pregnany.  Many women on this board bled at some time or another in their pregnancy and had healthy babies.  I'm crossing my fingers for you!

I had spotting ( and bleeding) the entire first trimester with my son. Good luck!

I had brownish spotting starting 2 days before my bfp and a couple days afterwards.

Yes--- I had the same thing. I am a chronic spotter (every cycle) so I thought it was AF starting. It lasted for a few days. I did get more spotting and bleeding in the first tri, and early second tri, due to a second sac/hematoma, also.

I spotted off and on through the entire first tri (from brown to pink to red) and even red spotting again at 19 weeks. It is scary but it can be normal. Just try to relax and congrats on the BFP!
