Does anybody else have to get up and eat during the night? I've been waking up for the past few nights starving and snacks haven't been helping. I think I need another meal in the middle of the night!
DS still isn't STTN so when he gets up at 4AM I'm very hungry. I ignore it. Eating in the middle of the night, IMO, is a great way to put on extra pounds that I personally don't need.
I eat 5 small meals per day to help deal with morning sickness. ?My last meal is right before bed. ?Try eating something with protein right before bedtime to tide yourself over until morning.
Last time I had to get up at night to eat in my second tri. ?It seems a little early for midnight snacks, considering that you're not supposed to gain much (if any) weight this early.
i get hungry right before bed- i try to ignore it and go to sleep cause i can see this causing a ton of weight gain (and typically i am too darn tired to get my butt up to get something)- as long as it's not very painful, then i can do without it-- if i need to eat something, i will usually make a small packet of oatmeal to tie me over or have a glass of 1%choc milk!
now only to make the peeing sensation go away off and on during the middle of the night!
I would try eating smaller meals during the day. I haven't woken up hungry in the night, but I sometimes would be soooo hungry when I went to bed. I would fight it, though, b/c I knew it would make my belly hurt. I have found that small meals thorugout the day help with nausea and I don't really get hungry anymore.
I eat smaller meals all day long, and I still have to get up in the middle of the night and eat. ?And I've lost 5 lbs. instead of gaining from it, so I figure that if I'm hungry I should eat.

Good luck!
