Which picture to use?

Our local paper does a "Babies of 2008" (or whatever the year before was) every year.  It features pictures and birthdates of babies born that year.  I plan on putting DD in it, but what picture would make more sense: a newborn pic or a picture of how she looks now?  We put DS in it when he was born, but his newborn pics and current pics looked so similar as he was only 3 months old.  DD is a year already...which would you pick?
